Guide & FAQ
Find the right markets, understand the numbers and save the routes you want to follow.
Getting started
Funding Coin collects exchange data to help you compare markets. It does not place trades or manage your funds.
Your first comparison
Open the tables and choose a tab for your task. Enter an exact ticker such as BTC. Select exchanges and set the volume threshold. Open a matching row to see its standalone route page.
What is free
Guests and free accounts see 5 of 29 exchanges in the service: Bybit · OKX · Aster · Binance · KuCoin. All four arbitrage tabs work within these exchanges and their available markets. Favorites and pinned routes require full access. Registration alone does not unlock paid features.
Choosing a tab
Funding and price spreads answer different questions. Each arbitrage tab is labeled with its market type.
Funding
Individual exchange contracts with rates, Mark prices, intervals and a countdown. The rate selector shows the native payment rate or an estimate for 8 hours, a day or a year. The 24h / 3 / 7 / 14 / 28 day columns contain historical funding payments; choose the displayed periods in table settings.
Funding arbitrage · Futures
Compares a long on one exchange with a short on another. Annual funding APR normalizes both actual payment intervals before comparing rates. Prices and the price spread appear alongside funding.
Price arbitrage · Futures
Compares Mark prices: long the cheaper side and short the more expensive side. Ranking by price spread does not imply positive funding income; check the separate Annual funding APR. The Funding effect filter selects routes with funding income or costs.
Funding arbitrage · Spot/futures
Buy spot and short a futures contract on a different exchange. This tab requires a positive, current futures funding rate. Spot pays no funding; APR comes from the futures side.
Price arbitrage · Spot/futures
Compares the last spot price with the futures Mark price. The direction stays “buy spot + short futures”, so spreads can be negative. The futures side shows its funding rate and interval. An exchange being listed does not mean it offers every coin on spot.
Search and filters
Matching pairs are filtered first. The table then selects the best pair under the current sort order.
Exact search and alternative routes
Search matches an exact ticker or contract: LSK does not match unrelated names containing those letters. Clear it with the cross or Escape. On mobile, search stays at the top as you scroll. Clearing a coin while browsing routes returns you to the start of the main list. The table normally groups the best route per coin. Click “+N routes” to see other pairs. On mobile, up to 30 routes appear first; Show more adds the next routes below without replacing the visible list. Clearing search or switching tabs restores grouping. Pinned favorites appear separately at the top, subject to filters.
Minimum 24-hour volume
The input is in millions: 0.5 or 0,5 = 500,000 in the quote currency on each side. For a USDT contract, that means 500,000 USDT. A positive threshold also excludes unknown or stale volumes. Empty or 0 disables this filter. Daily turnover is not the order-book depth available for your trade.
Rates, spreads and sorting
The minimum funding APR is a percentage per year: 10 means 10% APR. Price-spread bounds are percentages too. In price arbitrage, spreads above 100% are hidden; an empty maximum means 100%. The top row follows the chosen sort order; it is not a promise of profit.
Stocks, commodities and currencies
Stocks and Commodities buttons select those categories; both can be enabled. Dollar-currency mode compares USD, USDT, USDC and USDT0 at nominal 1:1, marked ≈, without an FX conversion. Choose same currencies for strict matching. A shared ticker is not sufficient: asset type and contract multipliers must match too.
Blacklist and empty results
Enter an exact ticker without an exchange or USDT in the Blacklist. It is hidden across exchanges, favorites and CSV. Restoring it does not delete its favorites. If no routes appear, check selected exchanges, search, volume, currencies, categories and the blacklist. After sign-in, search, exchanges, volume, spread bounds, categories and the blacklist are saved to your account and synced across devices. Price and funding settings are separate. The save status is shown above the table; other devices receive changes in about 5 seconds or when returning to the site. The first signed-in device imports its settings; existing account settings take priority. Without sign-in, filters remain in the browser.
Spread calculator
A window for comparing two manually entered prices of the same coin. Use Spread calculator in the menu or the calculator icon at the top of a route card; your table and chart stay in place. Close it with the cross, Escape or a click outside. Entered prices are kept when you reopen it on the same page.
Enter prices
Use positive prices in the same currency. Both a dot and a comma are accepted, with up to 10 decimal places. The result updates immediately; empty or invalid inputs do not become zero.
Calculation
(Price 2 − Price 1) / Price 1 × 100%. A positive result means the second exchange is more expensive. For example, 100 and 105 give +5%. Swap prices changes the calculation base, so the reverse percentage differs. Fees, funding and slippage are excluded.
Reading a route page
Each route has its own page. Both sides sit side by side on mobile; extra metrics can be expanded.
Annual funding APR
Tables, route pages and favorites show funding as annual APR at current rates. The calculation uses both actual payment intervals; spot funding is zero. Swapping long and short reverses the APR sign. This is a 365-day estimate, not income already received.
Exchanges, direction and sharing
The long exchange is green and the short exchange is red. Use the selector to pick another venue. Swap changes the sides of a futures pair; spot/futures has a fixed direction. “Copy link” includes both current exchanges and their direction. It opens live data, not a saved snapshot, and does not bypass another user’s access limits.
Prices and funding
Ask is the best public buy quote; Bid is the sell quote. Mark is a reference price and last is the last trade price. Futures funding includes the native rate and interval. Click “24h funding” for actual payments on either exchange or their comparison. In a spot pair, only the futures side has funding history.
The zero-centered chart
The single Spread tab shows entry in green and exit in red, a centered zero, percentages on the right and UTC time below. Choose 1 min, 5 min, 15 min, 1 hour or 1 day. Drag to scroll; use the wheel or pinch to zoom. Arrow buttons and Go to date help explore past days and weeks; Live returns to current quotes. Up to 90 days depend on exchange history; recorded Bid/Ask are retained for 30 days. Candle-close estimates are marked ≈ and each point identifies its source in the tooltip. Gaps mean missing data.
Opening status, limits and Delist
Opening status uses available public information. “Market active” does not guarantee your order will be accepted: size, open interest, margin and account restrictions can matter. Expand “Limit” to see whether it applies to a position, risk tier or a single order. It is not your account’s remaining allowance. Delist shows a warning with the known date and source; no badge does not prove that no announcement exists.
Data timestamps
The page refreshes about every 5 seconds; exchange quote requests run about every 10 seconds. That does not guarantee a new price each time. Check quote age and status: stale or unsynchronized Bid/Ask prices are not used for current entry and exit spreads.
Understanding the numbers
Estimated future funding, historical payments and price differences are separate measures.
Rate signs and intervals
Positive funding: longs pay shorts. Negative funding: shorts pay longs. 0.01% per hour cannot be compared directly with 0.01% per 8 hours without normalization. If an interval is missing, the service does not assume 8 hours.
Route APR is an annual estimate
The estimate changes as rates change. It is not a promised return.
Price spread, entry and exit
History, “—” and “≈”
History contains received payment records with times in UTC. Cumulative values run from the latest payment down to a selected row. Comparison subtracts long-side payments from short-side payments. “—” means missing data, not zero. “≈” can indicate partial history, nominal currency comparison or a price-converted limit; read the metric’s label.
Favorites across devices
Favorites belong to your account and require active full access.
Pinning a route
Click an outlined star in a row or detail page to make it yellow. The route appears in Favorites and at the top of arbitrage tables when it passes the filters. The saved long/short direction stays consistent across tables, even if returns turn negative. Click again to remove it. A Funding-tab star saves a coin on a specific exchange; a route star saves a pair of exchanges.
Sync and access expiry
Sign in with the same account on your phone and computer. Changes usually arrive within 10 seconds or when you return to the tab. Pending changes show a message and retry after connectivity returns. When full access ends, favorites are hidden but retained and restored after renewal.
Filters across devices
Signed-in filters and the blacklist are shared across your devices. The selected tab, open filter panel and auto-refresh switch remain device-local. If a saved route is missing, check those filters, available current markets and your access. On mobile, expand “More metrics” for additional details in the route card.
My positions · Aster
Funding received and paid on your open positions, in your account. An active full-access plan is required.
What the service calculates
Funding Coin adds up actual Aster funding payments and shows Received, Paid and Net for an open position. Expand its history to see dates and amounts instead of adding transactions manually. Only funding is included: trading PnL and trading fees are separate. Free Aster market quotes and personal account funding are different features; the personal calculation requires full access.
Connect step by step
- Sign in to your Funding Coin account. With full access active, find My positions · Aster.
- On Aster → API Management, select Pro API and create a separate Agent Wallet.
- Keep Read enabled. Disable Spot Trade, Perp Trade and Withdraw. Whitelist the server IP shown in the Funding Coin form and check the API wallet expiry.
- Enter your main Aster wallet’s public address and the Private Key of the separate API wallet in your account form. Never enter your main wallet key or seed phrase, or send keys to support or a chat.
- Select Connect Aster. The initial position and history load can take up to 3 minutes.
Reading the totals
Since opening means the start of the current position was found in the available history, so payments belong to that position cycle. Received shows credits, Paid shows debits and Net is their difference. The separate Account funding summary covers 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days, including closed positions. Different currencies are kept separate. Dates in this section use your device time zone.
When payments appear
Data refreshes about once a minute while your account is open; you can also select Refresh. A newly opened position may have no payments yet: they appear after Aster settles funding. Annual APR in the tables projects current rates over a year; this section shows payments that have already occurred. They measure different things.
Partial history and hedge mode
The service loads the last 30 days of history. If the position opening cannot be found, it shows a labelled symbol total for the available period, which may include closed positions. In hedge mode, Aster does not identify the side of a funding payment, so the service cannot split the symbol total between long and short. A payment at the exact opening or reversal time is also flagged for review. These totals are not a confirmed complete result for one current position.
Permissions and disconnecting
The connection is read only: Funding Coin cannot place trades or withdraw funds. API permissions are checked when connecting and refreshing; the key is encrypted on the server. Disconnect and delete data removes the connection and loaded data from the service; existing backups are not rewritten. You can also revoke the API wallet on Aster. After full access expires, viewing and refreshing are unavailable, but you can still delete the saved connection.
Telegram alerts
Monitor the closing gap of a chosen route, even when the site is closed. Available with active full access: payment, promo days or an owner grant.
1. Connect Telegram
In My account → Telegram alerts, choose Connect Telegram → Open bot. Press Start in a private chat. Follow the bot back to the website, check the Telegram shown and select “This is my Telegram — confirm”. Send a test message. The link expires in 10 minutes. One Telegram connects to one account.
2. Choose a route and target
Click Alert on a route card. Long, short and contracts stay fixed. The condition is (Short Ask − Long Bid) / Long Bid × 100% ≤ your target. A 0.5% target notifies you when the gap falls to 0.5% or below. This differs from Exit spread, which uses the opposite sign and another denominator.
3. Set reminders
Up to 10 active rules per account, each lasting 30 days. Choose 1–10 total messages and an interval of 1–1440 minutes. Three messages every five minutes means the first after confirmation and two more only when fresh quotes confirm the target again. If the condition stops holding, we wait for its return. Language is saved at creation: RU for Russian, EN for English, including reminders.
Manage rules and access expiry
Pause, edit or delete rules in your account. Saving edits pauses a rule. Arm again starts a new series from zero. Sending stops when full access expires; arm rules again after renewal. Disconnect in your account or send /stop to the bot.
Why a message may be delayed
Two fresh updates from both exchanges are required: quotes no older than 30 seconds and timestamps within 15 seconds. Top-of-book Bid/Ask exclude depth, fees, slippage and funding. This is not a profit calculation or an automatic close. Exchange delays, queues and Telegram can delay delivery. If delivery is unconfirmed, check your chat before arming again.
Account, subscription and referrals
Manage registration, access and referral rewards in your account.
Registration and recovery
Choose “Create account”, enter your email and follow the email link. Choose a permanent nickname and a password of at least 8 characters, then sign in. Your nickname stays with the account; sign-in uses email. Use “Forgot password?” to recover access; password changes require signing in again.
Full access and promo codes
Your account shows the plan and expiry. Full access unlocks all exchanges in the service registry, favorites, Telegram alerts and personal Aster funding totals; actual quotes depend on each source. A promo code may grant a discount or full-access days; its result appears after application. If a payment button is available in your account, create an invoice and continue to OxaPay. Choose USDT and a network; pay the sending fee separately. Access activates after full payment confirmation, and renewal preserves your remaining time. If confirmation is delayed, select “Check payment” instead of paying again. There are no automatic charges. The owner can also grant access.
Referral link and balance
A referral link becomes available after your first payment or when the owner enables it. A free-days promo alone does not create one. Rewards are 20% of the amount actually paid for each month by a referred user: 25 USDT earns 5 USDT; 20 USDT earns 4 USDT. Free access generates no commission. The account currently displays the accumulated balance; automatic withdrawals are not connected.
Subscription reminder emails
Reminders cover paid subscriptions only: 3 days before, 1 day before and after expiry. Gifted access and free-days promos do not trigger them. In Notifications, turn reminders off or select a language. Email verification and password recovery work independently.
